Its customers were named as the most satisfied mobile consumers in the pre-pay sector for two consecutive years in 2004 and 2005 by the J.D.Power and Associates. It is also featured as one of the 100 Best companies to work for list of the year 2005.

Virgin mobile offers a broad range of products and services such as mobile voice and non voice services, 3G, SMS, MMS, and other entertainment services through the Virgin Mobile portal. Other services include information, music services, games and international roaming are made available through the 5000 outlets in the UK.
Virgin Mobile USA
Best Virgin Deals is a joint venture between Virgin Group and Sprint Nextel. It is a cellular telephone company is one the first companies in the US to offer Pre-Paid cellular service since its operations since 2002. It uses Sprint's CDMA based Personal Communication Service, PCS Network. It has its headquarters in Warren, New Jersey. The company has offices in New York City and its IT offices are located in Walnut Creek, California. Many home agents based in several other cities throughout the US are contracted through West Corporation. Customer support is provided by ICT group in many cities. The company's website and various other retail outlets sell the handsets and airtime. The retail outlets include Wal-Mart, Best Buy, RadioShack, Target, Sprint Store etc., in addition to grocery and drug store chains like Safeway, Kroger, Walgreens, Meijer, Rite Aid etc. Virgin Mobile USA has no retail outlets of its own.
